Sunset Stream


 This stream just looked like fun. Having grown up spending hours playing in streams twisting and winding their way around rocks, I can recognize a good play stream. The dappled sunlight just made the stream sparkle. Can you hear the water as it's tumbling over the rocks? The auction ends tomorrow at 9:00 pm CST!

Dancing Gold

These bright yellow flowers were dancing in the breeze on this beautifully clear, but windy day. Although I photographed these flowers and took notes on them last summer I painted them early this past spring. We last winter was brutal here in New England and I was impatient for the grass to turn green and for the flowers to return.

Unbottled Light

My goal here was to express the color and light created with the sunlight shining through these blue bottles. This was also an exercise in expression - being loose, less concerned with detail.
